Day 8 Thursday

After breakfast Katie and I went outside to get some work done. Katie planted the flowers we bought at Lowe's a couple of days ago. We didn't want to wait as we wanted to enjoy them while we are here. Using the hand spade Katie manager to get a quick blister on her hand. Katie did a great job!

I worked on the golf cart, making sure the fluid levels in the batteries were good, doing some polishing etc.

We took a ride in the golf cart to see if the goats were on the small farm adjoining the park. We usually feed them the left over veggies when Katie makes her juice. There was only 1 goat there, there may be more later.

In the afternoon we went over to Al and Bonnie's so that I could give him an android media box I got for him. He always looks after problems at our place before we get there, and I appreciate it.

I got Kodi set up for him, so that he can watch the Jets games, as well as other things.

Had a couple of libations and some good laughs. Bonnie came home after 4 as she was in a golf tournament all day. By this time it was 99 F.

Katie and I had supper, and then went and did some shopping. I had to take back the antenna I got from Walmart, and we needed to get Katie some workout gloves to protect the sore on her hand when we go an workout on Friday.

Back home, watched the rest of the Jets game, they deserved better than a 1 point tie and a loss on a lucky overtime goal.
